I'm currently using Open Office Base to prototype the database that our ONCS system will require.

You can view the prototype database here.

The next task is to work out how to export the database from OOB into mySQL.

In MS Access I can script the database structure.

I've posted this question on the CLUG mailing list "Does anyone know if this is possible in Open Base and if so, how?"

 Update 18 Oct 2006 - Following my adventures with Base I installed mySQL Administrator and made the database.  mySQL Administrator has a tool for scripting a database back up.  You can view my back up file here.

 Update 27 Oct 2006 - Concept diagram for data collection can bee seen here.  Three of the six scripts are now prototyped and working on my server and people have been helping me with the next three.

 The next stage will be the reporting system for users and administrator.  See the concept diagram here.
